The four practical guides are up

The practical collection is finished and live:

• Reconstituting a peptide vial

They follow one rule, which is written into their own introductions: describe, never prescribe. They explain a procedure to somebody who has already decided to do it, and they name no doses. If you are looking for a number, they will not have one, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight.

The fourth one is the one to read even if you skip the others. Telling a settling reaction from cellulitis is the thing most likely to actually matter, and it is time-sensitive in a way none of the rest is.

Worth saying why the guides carry no doses, since it comes up every time somebody finds them.

It is not a legal hedge. It is that a dose printed in a guide is read as a recommendation no matter how it is framed, and we are not in a position to recommend one — there is no completed human trial behind most of these compounds to take a number from, and the ones that do have trials have them in populations that may look nothing like the reader.

Where a number exists and is real, it is on the compound page, attributed to the trial it came from. That is reporting. A guide saying "use 250 mcg" would be instructing, and it would be inventing the number besides.
